I am posting this a little early, because amazingly I saw someone post a picture of a manicure virtually the same as mine. How amazing is that!
So, after all the colour and stamping and blah of the last few days I wanted something understated and pretty. So, I dipped into my new purchases and grabbed one of my first Leighton Denny's, Prim and Proper. I have never owned one before but I was really impressed with the viscosity of the polish and how well it covered. Within two coats it was a perfect coating of understated nude. But, to be true to myself had to use a bit of Nubar Lavender Shimmer over the top which is not at all Lavender and very beige but with a pretty holographic multi sized glitter.
So, without further ado here are the pictures... But before I leave the polish count is up to 150! I added the purples today.
PS Good luck to the other lady who has this manicure today, she has a first date tonight...bless xx

MSE Nail Art Challenge - Week 3 - Green - Just Spotted a Turtle
So, for week three I am bringing out the big guns and just *had to* use my OPI Just Spotted a Lizard. But, to make it more interesting I have stamped it with a bit of a turtle shell pattern. I am quite impressed with the results, although once it was on Just Spotted a Lizard looked alot more gold than green on me. For the stamps I used Emerald City, a Matte from Revlon.

MSE Nail Challenge - week 2 - Orange
You would think I am all nail challenged out, and to be honest it was tempting to skip this one, but I didn't want to let down my lovely ladies over at MSE and not take proper part.
So here is my entry for week two.
Two new nail varnishes I have never used before. YAY
I used two/three coats on No7 Cheeky Chops for my base. It is a lovely colour and I had a few people comment at work about how well it it suited me, but it isn't that wonderful to apply and even though I had three coats on some fingers to stop the streakiness I could still see a bit of VNL ( Visible Nail Line) which I always think looks a bit naff. Maybe next time I will layer it over a similar colour, but one which is more solid to prevent it happening again.
Then, because I can't leave things alone I went for accent nails in Essence Special Topper Copperize Me. This is not a colour I would usually wear in glitter, but I thought it was proper lovely on. Trying to move myself from my comfort zone, so felt this did me proud.
Now, I am going to go and put something on my nails that I want to do for me. Who wants to bet it will take me ages to choose because I have had a week of just doing what I was told!

Rainbow Challenge, Day 5 - Blue
For me we are still in a nice end of the scale, and it was easier than I thought to pick my blue. My initial thoughts were China Glaze Frostbite as I just LOVE that colour. But today is very warm and humid so I didn't want to slap something to remind me of the winter all over my fingers.
So, with that in mind I have gone with Miss Sporty bright, but light blue, 456 with a top coat of Models Own Indian Ocean.
I love Miss Sporty polishes as they are really inexpensive, but they have lovely colours and they apply really well for me. Anyway. What do you think?
As always, please check out the blogs of the other lovely ladies taking part.

Sun, Sparkles what more can a girl ask?
As the temperatures rose yesterday I decided that today my nails had to reflect how I was feeling.
So, I have gone for a wonderful sparkly pink holographic. As much as other colours come and go in my life, pink remains a constant love of mine, and I am sure it will never leave me.
I have a real passion for the Speciallita No Olimpo holographics, and Atena is one of my faves due to how rich the colour is. I have Zeus on order, so cannot wait for it to arrive and play with that.
Today I have used
Seche ridge filling base coat
China Glaze Limbo Bimbo main colour
Speciallita HITS No Olimpo Atena
Seche Vite top coat.
Hope you enjoy it!
