Rainbow Challenge - Day 4 - Green

Well after all my moaning yesterday, I just want to say how much I love green. Green is fantastic, I love all green polishes, light green, dark green, bright green, dull green, metallic green. You add green to the name and I am at the front of the queue begging to put it on my nails. However, this has given me loads of difficulty in what to put on my nails today.

So the short list was as follows...

Left to right

China Glaze Kiwi Cool Ada
Barry M 290 Spring Green
Accessorize Aquamarine Metallic
NYC Mint Macaroon
China Glaze Cha Cha Cha
Models Own Emerald Green
Catrice 740 King Of Green
Catrice 600 After Eight
China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise

Firstly i wanted to do something different to what I have done before, so that is no stamping, no feature nails and no glitter. So out come the stamps. ( also a fabby idea to use two different greens - yay!)

So I decided to go for a light and dark, and had two untrieds that fitted the bill, so bargain. Here it goes...

Mint Macaroon base colour, with a stamp from BM plate 204 in Catrice King of Greens. It is so refreshing after that revolting yellow I almost wept at the beauty of it all. ( slight exaggeration there ladies and gents)

Must admit, I think it would have looked nice with a matte topcoat rather than my normal Seche Vite, but maybe I will use that for another date in our challenge?

As always if you enjoyed this please take the time to have a look at some of the other contributers to this challenge, they are very talented ladies.

  1. Yay! I love green nails :) Great combo

  2. Very pretty! I have Cha Cha Cha and I love it!

  3. Thanks peeps

Cha Cha Cha is one of my great untrieds. Can't wait to give it a go though.
